According to Elon Musk Neuralink is better than Metaverse in long term
World’s richest person, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk showed no support for Zuckerberg’s Metaverse (A hypothesized iteration of the Internet) and Web3 ecosystem, as he dismissed the terms for being used as “Buzzwords and marketing tactics.”
Elon Musk said, “I don’t see anyone strapping a friggin’ screen to their face all day.
The CEO of Tesla, Elon musk said in an interview with The Babylon Bee, when hosts asked him about Metaverse, “I don’t see if i necessarily buy into this Metaverse stuff, although people talk to me a lot about it (Metaverse).
While talking about Mark Zuckerberg’s Metaverse and VR (Virtual Reality), Elon said, he doesn’t see a better future of Metaverse, where someone would like to leave the real world to live in a virtual world.
Sharing his personal opinion, Musk added “The headsets tend to trigger motion sickness while playing a video game.
Musk said “In the long term, a sophisticated Neuralink could put you fully into the virtual world, I think we’re far away from disappearing into the Metaverse, this sounds just kind of Buzzwordy.”
Neuralink is company founded by elon musk which is developing an ultra high bandwidth brain machine interface to connect human with computers.
Musk said “I’m currently unable to see a compelling Mark’s Metaverse or Web3 sounds like more marketing than reality. I don’t get it, or maybe i will, but I don’t get it yet”
He also said that, people won’t preferring moving around with a virtual reality headset without wanting to ever leave it. Musk also recollected being warned growing up about not sitting too close to the television.
Adding to this, as he’s considered to be the most influential supporter of Dogocoin, he again showed his love for Cryptocurrency, calling it indestructible & fundamentally aimed at reducing centralized government’s power.
Musk said, It’s not possible to destroy crypto, but it’s possible for government to slow down its advertisement.
He also suggested that American government should do nothing.
