Elon Musk is an African-American entrepreneur. He’s the founder of PayPal (Money Transfer facility), SpaceX (aerospace manufacturer, space transportation services, and communications corporation). He was the first successful investor of Tesla as well as CEO of Tesla (Electric Cars manufacturing Company).

Early Life
Musk was born to a South African father (Errol Musk) and a Canadian mother (Maye Musk) on 28th June 1971.
He displayed an early talent for computers and entrepreneurship by creating a video game named ‘Blastar’ and sold it to a computer magazine for 500$.
In 1988, after getting a Canadian passport, he left South Africa because he was not supporting apartheid through compulsory military service and because he sought the more significant economic opportunities available in the US.
Education
He didn’t want to serve in the South African military; therefore, he moved to Canada and enrolled in Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and in 1992 he transferred to the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, US, and got a bachelor’s degree.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Founded PayPal
In 1999, he founded Zip2, which provided maps and business directories to online newspapers.
He sold that company (Zip2) to a computer-making company for 307 million dollars in 1999.
After selling Zip2, he started a website (X.com) and later changed its name to PayPal (an online money transferring service), which changed his life completely.
SpaceX
In 2002, Musk founded Space Exploration Technologies called ‘SpaceX’ to develop affordable rockets and Reusable Rockets.
He launched the first rocket (Falcon 1) in 2006 and the giant Falcon 9 rocket in 2010, and both rockets were cheaper than other company’s rocket.
SpaceX launched Falcon heavy in 2018. It could deliver 53,000 kilograms (117,000 lbs) to orbit, about double the weight of its most powerful competitor, Boeing Co.’s Delta IV Heavy, at one-third the price.
SpaceX is presenting the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy Super Heavy-Starship System upgrade.
Tesla
Tesla is an electronic car manufacturing company founded by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Musk always knew the potential of electric cars. In 2004 musk was of a prominent investor in Tesla Motors (Tesla).
Tesla launched its first electric vehicle (the Roadster) that was capable of going 394 kilometres (245 miles) on a single charge.
In addition to Musk’s prior electric cars, which Musk thought to be uninteresting and dull, Roadster was a sports automobile that was capable of going from 0 to 60 miles within four minutes.
Tesla’s initial public garnered approximately $226 million, and later Tesla launched (Model S Vehicle).
Tesla is also famous for its Model X premium SUV, which was launched in 2015. A more cheaper (Model 3) was launched in 2017.
